Operator on the dashboard.
Ongoing ad management, content, and email campaigns. Same operator who built it stays on it. Capped at three brands at a time so the work stays sharp.
The Retainer
// Next intake: May 2026
Apply for the next open slot. Tell me your brand, current stack, what's broken, and what you've tried. I review every application personally.
Apply for RetainerGoogle or Meta managed monthly
One channel managed end-to-end: campaign optimization, audience iteration, creative refresh, monthly performance review.
Monthly site sweep + voice scan
Each month I scan for broken redirects, search-tag regressions, voice violations, page-speed issues. Fixes shipped before they tank rankings.
One campaign per month, written + shipped
Strategy, copy, design, send. Plus monitoring of the welcome sequence and list health — catching issues like the ones in the Ceremony case.
One social channel automated
AI-powered content engine keeps one channel (IG / Pinterest / TikTok / articles) producing on cadence. Hands-off after setup.
Deep review + plan refresh
Every 90 days, a deeper dive: what's working, what's broken, what to add. Same lens as The Roadmap, recurring.
Async + monthly call
One 60-min strategy call per month. Email + Slack between. No account managers, no junior staff — just me, on the dashboard.
Best fit if
- You're past $20k/month and need ongoing operator capacity
- You don't want to hire a $10k/mo in-house growth lead yet
- You've completed The Setup, OR your foundation is already solid
- You value direct access to the operator, not account managers
- You're okay with a 3-month minimum so the work has time to compound
Not a fit if
- Your foundation isn't built yet — start with The Setup
- You need 24/7 availability or same-day response to everything
- You want multi-channel paid ads (this is one channel done well)
- You need pause-anytime flexibility from month 1
- You expect agency-style account management hierarchy
Strategy call
60-min review. Last month's performance, this month's priorities, what to ship. Decisions agreed in writing.
Execution
Ad optimization, email campaign written and shipped, content engine running, search-visibility sweep, automation maintenance.
Review + report
Written monthly report: what shipped, what worked, what didn't, recommendations for next month.
Deep review
Every 3 months, a Setup-grade review of the whole stack. Catches drift before it becomes debt.
Why capped at three brands?
Because I'm one person and the work quality drops past three concurrent active retainers. The cap is real, not a sales tactic. When the cap is hit, the next intake is the next month a slot opens up. Current capacity is shown live on the homepage console.
Do I need to do The Setup first?
No, but you need a working foundation. If your site, ads, and email are already in decent shape, we can skip The Setup and start the Retainer directly. If they're not, the Retainer would mostly be firefighting — the Setup is a better first move.
What happens after the 3-month minimum?
You can pause or cancel anytime with 30 days notice. No long-term contract, no annual lock-in. The 3-month minimum exists because performance marketing genuinely needs that long for optimization data to mature.
Why "apply" instead of "subscribe"?
Because not every business is a fit for this scope, and one wrong-fit retainer can degrade the work for the other two. The application is a 5-minute email — I review every one personally and respond within 48 hours either way.
What if I want more than what's listed?
The Retainer is fixed-scope at $1,500/mo. If you need more (multi-channel ads, multiple content channels, dedicated photography, etc.) we can scope a custom monthly rate. Mention it on your application.
How does ad spend work?
You pay ad spend directly to Google or Meta on your card. The Retainer covers the management labor — not the ad spend itself. Most clients run $2k–$15k/mo in ad spend.
