Operator on the dashboard. Local scope.
Built for service businesses doing $10k–$50k/month. One paid ad channel managed, one email campaign per month, monthly site review — right-sized so you're not paying for capacity you won't use.
The Local Retainer
Email me to start. Tell me your business, your current marketing, and what's working / not. I'll respond within 48 hours either way.
Email to StartOne channel managed monthly
Pick Google Ads or Meta. End-to-end: campaign optimization, audience targeting, creative refresh quarterly, monthly performance review.
Local search optimization
Monthly review of your Google Business listing -- photos, hours, posts, review responses. The biggest local-search lever most service businesses ignore.
One campaign per month
Strategy, copy, design, send. Plus monitoring of any welcome sequence and list health. Brings repeat customers back without extra ad spend.
Monthly site sweep
Each month I check for broken links, slow pages, voice drift, and search visibility. Fixes shipped before they affect bookings.
Monthly written report + 30-min call
What shipped, what worked, what didn't, what's next. Plus a 30-minute strategy call to discuss priorities and answer questions.
Email + light Slack
Direct line to me for questions and decisions. No account managers, no junior staff — just one operator. 48-hour response time.
Best fit if
- You run a service business -- spa, salon, restaurant, tour, real estate, gym
- You're doing $10k–$50k/month and want to grow steadily
- One ad channel done well beats two channels done badly
- You want one operator on the dashboard, not a 5-person agency
- You value direct access more than 24/7 availability
- You're okay with 3-month minimum so the work has time to compound
Not a fit if
- You're an online store -- The Retainer ($1,500/mo) is broader scope
- You need multiple ad channels managed simultaneously
- You need same-day or 24/7 response to everything
- You want a full content engine across 3+ social channels
- Your foundation isn't built yet -- start with The Setup
Strategy call + plan
30-min review of last month's results. Set priorities for the month. Decisions agreed in writing.
Execution
Ad optimization, email campaign written and shipped, Google Business Profile updates, site sweep, fixes shipped.
Report + next month
Written monthly report: what shipped, what worked, what to test next month. Sent to you by end of week 4.
Why $750/mo when The Retainer is $1,500?
Different scope. The Local Retainer covers one paid ad channel + one email per month + monthly site review + Google Business Profile -- right-sized for service businesses where one channel done well drives most of the revenue. The Retainer ($1,500/mo) covers multiple channels, full content engine, 60-min monthly call, and quarterly deep reviews -- right for online stores with broader needs.
Can I add a second ad channel?
Yes, but at that point you're effectively at The Retainer scope. If you genuinely need two channels managed properly, upgrade to The Retainer ($1,500/mo). Half-managing two channels is worse than fully-managing one.
I'm on Squarespace / Wix / WordPress -- does this work?
Yes. Most service businesses don't need Shopify. The Local Retainer works on whatever website platform you're already using. We focus on what's actually moving the needle (ads, Google Business, email, site speed) regardless of platform.
What if I'm doing less than $10k/mo?
The Local Retainer might be premature. Get The Roadmap ($497) first -- you'll get a written plan you can act on yourself. When you're consistently above $10k/mo, the Local Retainer math works.
Why a 3-month minimum?
Performance marketing genuinely needs that long for optimization data to mature. Google Ads typically takes 2-4 weeks to exit "learning phase" alone. Anything less than 3 months is firefighting, not actual operating. After month 3, pause or cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
Do you work with businesses outside Hawaii?
Yes. The Hawaii positioning is about who I am, not who I work with. Local Retainer clients can be anywhere -- if your time zone is North America, you'll get my best response time. International is fine too, just expect 24-hour response cycles.
Can I switch between Local Retainer and Retainer?
Yes. Both have a 3-month minimum, then you can switch up or down with 30 days notice. Many service businesses start on Local Retainer and upgrade to The Retainer when they outgrow single-channel scope.
Service businesses, scaled steady.
One operator. One ad channel done right. One email per month. Compounding monthly. That's it.
